YouBike was a finalist for the Bright Ideas Challenge 2011. The Bright Ideas Challenge is about providing people with the connections and support they need to take their idea to the next level. The Challenge is brought to you by Grow Wellington in collaboration with the Wellington innovation and investment community.
Ideas included in all stages of ideas, including:
- Dynamic initial ideas
- Ideas at research and development
- Prototype
- Pilot stage
- Revenue generating stage
The judges are looking for these qualities:
- Originality
- Commercial potential
- The ability to develop and support your idea in the Wellington region
Feedback was provided to every concept or idea submitted, taking into account your target market and how you plan to reach it, your competition, your plan to make money from it, and how you are going to achieve success.
